  • Syngonium Eclipse

Syngonium, also known as the Arrowhead Plant or Goosefoot Plant, is a popular houseplant known for its attractive foliage and easy-care requirements.

    1. Light: Syngonium thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. If the plant doesn't get enough light, it may become leggy and lose its vibrant colors.

    2. Temperature: Keep your Syngonium in a room with temperatures between 15-27°C. Avoid exposing it to sudden temperature drops or drafts.

    3. Watering: Water your Syngonium when the top inch of the soil feels dry to the touch. Water thoroughly but ensure that the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot. During the growing season (spring and summer), you may need to water more frequently, but reduce watering in the winter.

    4. Fertilization: Feed your Syngonium with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half-strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or stop fertilizing in the winter when the plant is not actively growing.

    5. Pruning: Prune your Syngonium to maintain its shape and encourage bushier growth. Pinch back leggy growth to promote fuller, compact growth.

    6. Repotting: Repot your Syngonium when it becomes root-bound, usually every 2-3 years. Use a slightly larger pot with fresh potting mix. Spring is the best time for repotting.

    7. Pests and Diseases: Syngonium is generally resistant to pests, but it can occasionally attract spider mites or aphids. Keep an eye out for any signs of infestations and treat them promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.

With proper care, your Syngonium will flourish and add a touch of green beauty to your indoor space.
