Hi, I’m Carol — horticulturist, creator, and the heart behind Plant Homewares.

For as long as I can remember, plants have been part of my story. Some of my happiest memories are of weekends spent in the garden with my mum and grandmother, surrounded by soil, fresh air, and laughter. Those early moments sparked a lifelong love of growing, nurturing, and creating with nature.

After years working as an accountant — where I was affectionately known as the crazy plant lady — I realised my true passion lay in helping others experience the same calm and creativity that plants brought me. That’s how Plant Homewares came to life.

Today, Plant Homewares is an online destination for terrariums, DIY kits, and botanical gifts, designed to bring the beauty of nature indoors. Each piece reflects my belief that plants are more than decoration — they’re living reminders of balance, care, and growth.

From ready-made terrariums to build-your-own kits, every creation is thoughtfully designed to be both beautiful and achievable, even if you’re new to plant care. My goal is to help you feel confident, inspired, and connected — one little green world at a time.

I still personally design and hand-assemble every terrarium you see online, along with curating plant-inspired homewares that complement your living space. You’ll also find detailed care guides, DIY resources, and seasonal inspiration so you can keep your plants thriving long after they arrive.
